Hello All,
This upcoming Sunday eXtv will present a 3v3 single-elimination (until the semi-finals) King of the Hill cup! Registration is open to the first 16 teams to enter the tournament, and the prize is pot includes keys.
3v3 KOTH is a unique format invented by the Lanified! team in Calgary. Class limit is 1 per class. The matches are very DM-heavy, and creative off-classing can be the deciding factor in winning games!
There will be a standardized config to use for each match; a few Dallas and Chicago servers will be available for teams that are too lazy to use their own servers. If you use your own server, you are REQUIRED to provide STV connect info and an STV demo.
Schedule:
TBD, start time 1pm central on Sunday, please be in irc 15 min early.
Teams must agree to their server usage in this thread before the games begin on Sunday. A team that does not have 3 members on server at the scheduled time is subject to losing one point per 5 minutes; since matches are played to 4 points, a team that is 20 minutes late effectively forfeits the round and is eliminated.
Unlocks NOT ALLOWED: Bonk & Wrangler
If you use a banned weapon and receive a warning by the other team (preferably in text chat on the server, as demos log this), then continued use of the weapon will result in a forfeit for your team.

You are only allowed 2 backups. Please ensure that everyone on your team can play for the given times on Sunday before signing up!!
One final note - only teams with 3 members on the roster will be counted towards the 16. Signing up your team with only one name as a placeholder doesn't cut it. ;P

It has been decided, koth_ashville will be the 1st round map, koth_sawmill will be second round map and koth_badlands will be 3rd round map. The lower bracket has a special map koth_persia_b4, its suggested that you download and play the map ahead of time. This map is unique rule-set where the capture time is 4 min, instead of 3 min.
