StarCraft 2 hit the streets yesterday with Battle.Net going live and enabling online play. Players are voraciously working through the Single Player Campaign, which one devoted fan beat within 16 hours of the game going live, and battling it out online.
While eXtv has no plans to expand into StarCraft 2 coverage, we are huuuuge fans of the eSport and have mad respect for it. I played Schetter live during a TGBF broadcast after the TF2 match fell through and got thoroughly stomped! That doesn’t stop the appreciation though as StarCraft continues to push eSports into the mainstream and provide a fantastic watching experience, even for nOObs like me.
Our favorite place to watch StarCraft2 is HuskyStarcraft. Here is one of his latest, right before the game dropped. I met Husky IRL @ PDXLAN 15 and briefly bro’d down, very cool dood.
And check out his oldspice parody video/promo for TheGameStation, lawl.
